Key dates in 2019
Feb 19th -- first day to circulate nomination petitions for the primary election (only school board and judicial candidates can cross-file)
Mar 12th -- last day to circulate and file nomination petitions for the primary election
Mar 13th -- FIRST DAY FOR GREEN CANDIDATES to circulate nomination papers for the general election
May 21st -- PRIMARY ELECTION DAY (a great day for Greens to get signatures on nomination papers!)
Aug 1st -- LAST DAY FOR GREEN CANDIDATES to circulate and file nomination papers for the general election
Oct 7th -- last day to register to vote in the general election
Oct 29th -- last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot
Nov 1st -- last day for county board of elections to receive absentee ballot
Nov 5th -- ELECTION DAY!
